Use Case Lab Schedule
When I started the Higher Ed AI Playbook, I had one goal: give senior higher ed leaders the analysis they actually need to govern AI well.
The Use Case Lab is a big part of how I’m doing that.
I’ve been running these AI deep dives informally with campuses for the past two years. Now it’s a monthly, live session on Substack (~60 minutes), held on the last Thursday of each month at 12 PM Eastern Time.
Thursday, July 30th - I’m sitting down with Brett Pollak of UC San Diego to open the box on TritonGPT — the AI platform UCSD built on its own supercomputer rather than buying off the shelf, and now licenses to other universities. We’ll get into the decision that started it (a student at the IT help desk, of all places), why they kept their data in-house, and how any institution can think about build the control layer, buy the horsepower.
